I’m Sally
A calm, open-minded presence who believes that even in the darkest seasons, there’s potential for change. Grief, overwhelm, anxiety – these don’t have to be end-points. With gentle compassion and steady support, I help people reconnect with their inner strength, understand their story more deeply, and move toward what matters most.
I meet each person with respect for their pace and perspective – but also offer thoughtful guidance when needed. Sometimes, a caring challenge or a new direction is exactly what helps us grow. If you feel lost or stuck, I can help you reorient with clarity and care.
I work with both children and adults, using a deeply integrative approach. When words aren’t enough – and often, they’re not – I draw on creative and body-based therapies that help access what lives beneath the surface. These include Play Therapy, Sand Tray, Internal Family Systems, Somatic work, and Brainspotting (Learn more link). Whether it’s a child expressing big feelings through symbolic play, or an adult gently releasing old patterns held in the brain, body and nervous system, I support the process with presence, safety, and practical tools.
I’m a lifelong learner, drawn to approaches that are both evidence-based and deeply human. Outside the therapy room, I enjoy cycling, Pilates, and time in nature – movement and adventure are vital to my own wellbeing. I’m also a mother of three grown children, a partner, and a companion to a much-loved cat.
Taking the First Step
Every person has a story, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside those ready to explore theirs. If you’re seeking support for yourself or your child, I bring warmth, deep listening, and a strong belief in your capacity to grow and heal.
Please note that I am not a crisis counsellor and cannot provide immediate assistance if you or your child is in crisis. For urgent support, visit click the Safety page, where you’ll find contact numbers for trusted agencies equipped to help right away. Click here.
